Biography:


Susan Baltimore Nobleman was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1988 and to the U.S. District Court in 1989. She concentrates her practice on elder law and probate matters. She also handles real estate closings and represents clients in housing court and in administrative hearings.

Ms. Nobleman received her undergraduate degree in 1971 and her master’s degree in 1975 from Southern Connecticut State University, both in Library Science. She received her law degree from the University Of Connecticut School Of Law in 1988 and has been employed with the firm of Gesmonde, Pietrosimone & Sgrignari, L.L.C. since that time. Ms. Nobleman was the Chair of the Elder Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association from 2000-2002. Prior to that, she was vice-chair (1998-2000), secretary (1996-1998) and co-chair of the Continuing Legal Education subcommittee of the Elder Law Section. She continues to be an active member of the Executive Committee of that Section. She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the New Haven County Bar Association.

Ms. Nobleman is a founding and current board member of the Hamden Senior Wish Society, a non-profit organization. Ms. Nobleman has presented a number of seminars on elder law for the Connecticut Bar Association. She also presents on elder law issues before community groups and the general public.
