Biography:
Meaghan Murphy practices in the areas of labor, education, and employment law as well as municipal law, including planning and zoning. She represents individual employees, including superintendents of schools, school administrator associations, and other public sector unions, including police, fire, secretarial, paraprofessional, nurse, and custodial employee units in collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, termination matters, and unfair labor practice complaints.
Meaghan received her B.A. from Amherst College in 2010, where she played on the women’s soccer team for four years. In 2014, she received her J.D. from Western New England University School of Law and was awarded the Edward B. Cooley Award for Excellence in Labor Law.
Meaghan was admitted to the Connecticut and Massachusetts bars in 2014. She is a member of the New Haven County and Connecticut Bar Associations, New Haven Young Lawyers, and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
